An applicant should be at least eighteen (18) years to apply for a motor vehicle driver’s license and at least seventeen (17) years to apply for a motorcycle driver’s license.
In Dominica five (5) classes of drivers licenses are issued :
1. Class A
2. Class B
3. Class C
4. Temporary or Visitors license
5. International license

Applicants for Dominica’s International driver’s license are required to complete an application form stating clearly their name, date of birth, nationality, and other relevant information.

The passport or birth certificate of the applicant together with the completed application form is required to process the driver’s license.
